Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek preparation

Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla (flight- 40 min) to Phakding (2652m) 3-4 hours

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6 hours

Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar, hike to Everest view hotel (3900m) 3-4 hours

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m) 5-6 hours

Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m) 5-6 hours

Day 08: Acclimatization at Dingboche/ hike to Chhukung valley (4410m) 4-5 hours

Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) 5-6 hours

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep & hike to Everest Base Camp (5,320m) 5-6 hours

Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kala Pathar (5550m) to Pheriche (4371m) 5-6 hours

Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6-7 hours

Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2826m) 6-7 hours

Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu (flight) 40 min

Day 15: Departure

<p>After landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu from your designated destinations, you will be received by a representative of the travel company at the arrival gate who will then transfer you to you allotted hotels. If the time persists, you can either visit the city or relax at the hotel to overcome your jet lag. O/N at Hotel.</p>

<p>Everest Base Camp Trek also includes the sightseeing of heritages site of Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will be taken towards Kathmandu Durbar (Palace) Square, one of the heritage sites where you can view many historical and cultural monuments. Later, you will visit another heritage site known as Pashupatinath Temple. This is a sacred Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva named which is always crowded by Hindu pilgrims. After lunch, visit to Buddhist pilgrimage Swoyambhunath (famous by the name of Monkey temple among tourists) will be carried forward. Likewise, Boudhanath Shrine will be covered by the evening. After concluding the sightseeing, there will be seminar for you to attend to discuss about the upcoming trekking plans. O/N at Hotel.</p>

<p>On the third day of Everest Base Camp Trek, you will have to wake up early as the flight to Lukla leaves in the morning. The super scenic flight takes around 40 minutes to touch down in Lukla. You will have a whale of a time in the brisk flight as you can see the most amazing natural views from the airplane window. After landing in Lukla, the trek to Phakding will start after lunch. You will reach Phakding before sunset where you will get ample time to stroll around the village. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>From Phakding, the route gets a head start by crossing suspension bridges on the Dudh Koshi River towards Namche Bazaar. On the way, you will pass by the Sagarmatha National Park where you could see varieties of floras and faunas. Soon, you will have to make a descent towards Jorsalle village crossing Bhote- Koshi River through a suspension bridge. You will reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading town also known as the gateway to Mt. Everest in the Khumbu Region before sunset. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>Getting acclimatized is very important while embarking on the high altitude trek. For the purpose, the day is reserved for the acclimatization process where you will spend a full day to get used to the altitude and the environment of higher altitude places. After lunch, you will be taken for a short hike towards Everest view hotel. From the hotel premises you can see the panoramic view of the Everest region. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>Enjoying the Everest Base Camp Trek, today the day will start with a hike towards Tengboche traversing different forests. The route offers magnificent views of mountains like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak. After reaching Tengboche, you will visit Tengboche Monastery which is renowned as one of the famous monasteries in the region. The monastery is situated in a beautiful location from where you could witness amazing sceneries. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>The day’s trek will proceed towards Dingboche also known as Summer Valley. The route will start by descending through rhododendron forests to reach the village of Pangboche. After few hours of hike, you will reach Dingboche, a small village in the Chukhung Valley. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>Experiencing the Everest Base Camp Trek, today we rest at Dingboche for better acclimatizing. Optional hike to Chhukung valley can be taken which offers great views of the mountains like Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Cholatse and Taboche peaks. Towards the north-west side are Lobuche West, Lobuche East and Lhotse. From another location on the ridge one can witness Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village. Then back to Dingboche. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>Climbing through Duglha via Khumbu Khola Valley, today, you will proceed towards Lobuche. Descending via Duglha village, you will reach Lobuche before sunset. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>This is going to be one of the most exciting days in the Everest Base Camp Trek as it leap your steps towards the Everest Base Camp. You will have to make some steep ascent towards the base camp. However, during the climb you can enjoy the natural splendor of Khumbu Glacier and ice fall from the base camp site. Also, you will have to pass over rocky dunes, moraine and streams to make you way towards the base camp. After a brief stay at the amazing high altitude site, also known as the point form of Everest expedition, you will have to hike backwards on the earlier route until you reach Gorak Shep. <p>On the day, you will hike towards Kala Pathar known for offering splendid 360-degree panoramic view of the world’s tallest mountains including Mt. Everest. At the Kala Pathar site, you can enjoy mesmerizing views of snow laden giants over your head. After getting enthralled at the amazing place for some time, the trek descends to Pheriche via Gorak Shep. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>On the twelfth day of Everest Base Camp Trek, after breakfast, descend down from Pheriche to Namche which obviously takes less hours and AMS now is no longer an issue. Hike along passes, green forests until reaching Namche Bazaar. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>The trek today is all downwards and from previous trekkers experience, they find this hike challenging. Even though it’s all going down but the slopes tend to have effect on the knees, so very good tip is using trekking poles for this section of the trek which proves much helpful. After 6-7 hours of hike will reach Lukla and check-in hotel. O/N at Lodge.</p>

<p>You have completed your trekking as you wait to board a Kathmandu bound flight from Lukla. You excitement level will proliferate as the plane flies between hills before it reaches to a required elevation. The 40 minutes flight will also give you a bird’s eye view of glorious Kathmandu city by the time it prepares to land. After landing at the Tribhuvan airport, the company representative will transfer you to you designated hotels. The remaining day in the capital city will be all yours. You can do whatever you like. You can relax at the hotel or visit markets for the final day shopping. O/N at Hotel</p>

Day 15 :
Departure

<p>Your Everest Base Camp Trek terminates today. You will be escorted to airport by one of our representative and there we exchange our last good-byes. You will be traveling towards your further destination with all the memories you had during your tour. We hope you had a lovely time with us.
