Everest Base Camp Heli Trek

<p>After your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will later transfer you to the hotel. After hotel check in you can decide whether you would like to have a relaxing rest at the hotel or hang around the streets of Kathmandu (If you have leisure time). You will be briefed about our next day’s travel plan by our company representative. O/N you stay at the hotel. </p>

<p>Begining the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, after your breakfast you will catch the domestic flight for the Lukla (2850m) for about 35 minutes. There you will meet your guide and porter and begin your first trek of the trip to the Phadking (2660m). We will follow the trails of Dudhkoshi river until we reach Phadking. Approximate distance from Lukla to Phadking may be 8 km which will take about 3-4 hrs. Overnight at Phadking. </p>

<p>Today after the breakfast we will continue our trek to the Namche Bazaar (3435m) which is popular with trekkers in the Khumbu region, especially for altitude acclimatization, and is the gateway to the high Himalaya. The distance between Phadking to Namche is 10-12 km which might take about 5-6 hours. Overnight at Namche Bazaar. </p>

<p>Today is the rest day so that you can acclimatize for the next day. You can utilize this day at Namche Bazaar by visiting museum, local shop, Shyangboche airstrip. </p>

<p>Enjoying the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, after breakfast we will trek for the Tengboche (3890m) from Namche Bazaar with the awesome view of Himalayas like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde. The tengboche is known as one of the most beautiful place in Everest region. We will stop in the tengboche monastery and have tour of it. Distance from Namche to Tengboche covers 10km and might take about 6 hours for the trek. Overnight at Tengboche. </p>

<p>After breakfast we will start our trek towards Dingboche (4400m) for about 6 hrs as the distance covers 11km. We will observe the typical village of Sherpa and have lunch with locals. The trek route to Dingboche is a difficult one as the landscape is dry and mountains are deserted. Overnight at Dingboche. </p>

<p>Today in the seventh day of Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, our trek distance will be 11-12 km from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910) which will take about 6-8 hours as the trek becomes challenging from the Dingboche. We will observe Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Pumori and the Nuptse during our trek. Overnight at Lobuche. </p>

<p>Enjoying the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek, today we will cover a distance of 15 km for about 6-8 hours via trek. The trek will be from Lobuche to Gorekshep (5380). Today includes a challenging climb past the Khumbu Glacier, arriving in Nuptse. We'll cross the Changri Glacier to Gorakshep, and then enjoy the highlight of reaching Everest Base Camp. Then we will again return back to the Gorekshep. Overnight at Gorekshep. </p>

<p>Early in the morning hike to Kalapathar for sunrise view and then return back Gorekshep for breakfast and fly back to Kathmandu by Helicopter marking the end of your trek to Everest Base Camp. You will check in at the Hotel. You will have leisure time for buying gifts and other stuffs. At evening you will be joining a special farewell dinner in a cozy traditional Nepali restaurant with our team. Overnight, you stay at the hotel. </p>

<p>Your Everest Base Camp Heli Trek terminates today. You will be escorted to airport by one of our representative and there we exchange our last good-byes. You will be traveling towards your further destination with all the memories you had during your tour. We hope you had a lovely time with us.
