and Mantra in three major religions of Nepal
includes Hinduism, Buddhism and Shamanism. Hinduism
believes in Sadhus which often follows Lord Shiva
and generally carries his symbol, the trident or
trishul and Buddhism in monks. You will observe many
shamans in the way of your journey. The traditional
practitioner in Nepal will chant and beat his drum
for many hours to avoid the bad evils that occur in
the society. It is very much an interesting activity
to observe. The Shamans wear the unique dress while
they are performing their power of shamanism.
