This Himalayan region which lies in the northwest remains one of the most remote places and is also known for its high mountain Lake Se- Phoksundo. This region full of Buddhist monasteries is challenging but the reward is also overwhelming for adventure loving trekkers. There are many possible ways of doing the trek of this region varying from 2 weeks to more than a month. The shorter treks begin by flying into nearby airfields such as Dunai where as the others trail ahead from Pokhara, Baglung and Surkhet.
