Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is easy trek and is considered as one of the best trek route. This trek is the best trek route for the spectacular view of Annapurna region as anyone can easily attempt this trek. The trek itself presents Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri views along the route with blooming rhododendron flowers. Some other main peaks overlooking includes the Annapurna South (7,219m), Gangapurna (7,455m) and Dhaulagiri , Annapurna charming Himalayan area as far towards east to Mt Manaslu. Poon Hill is popular as view tower place. The astonishing sunrise from Poon Hill is just unmissable. Poon Hill Trekking will also let you witness terraced slopes, warm villages, beautiful paddy fields, and wonderful culture and lifestyle of ethnic people like Gurungs, and Magars.

Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
After your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will later transfer you to the hotel. After hotel check in you can decide whether you would like to have a relaxing rest at the hotel or hang around the streets of Kathmandu (If you have leisure time). You will be briefed about our next day’s travel plan by our company representative. O/N you stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins with the sightseeing of the cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Syambhunath Temple (known as Monkey temple by tourist). The arts around the Durbar square will not let you down, and the serenity and composure around the temple and stupa will capture your heart. Later at the evening you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 3: Fly Kathmandu-Pokhara 30 min and trek to Tikhedhunga 14km trek for 5 hrs
On the third day of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, after our breakfast we will take a domestic flight and fly to Pokhara. Then we will drive for an hour towards NayaPul from where we will begin our trek. We will trek for 5 hrs covering the distance of 14 km to the Tikhedhunga (1527m) while enjoying the beautiful river streams and green mountains. Overnight at Tikhedunga.

Day 4: Trek Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2810m) 18km trek for 7 hrs
Today after breakfast we will continue our trek towards Ghorepani (2810m) which is also the most difficult trek of the trip as the trail goes only higher in elevation. The whole trail will lead us through villages and forest to Ghorepani and finally we will view the phenomenal close view of Himalayas. We will cover the distance of 18km around 7 hrs. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 5: Trek Ghorepani- Poon Hill (3210m) and Tadapani (2700m) 12km trek for 5 hrs
Enjoying the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, early in the morning we will do a short hike for about 1.5 hr to Poonhill for the spectacular sunrise and views of 10 different peaks. Then we will trek back to the Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast we will again continue trekking for Tadapani (2700m), another great place to take close views of Himalayas. Overnight at Tadapani.

Day 6: Trek Tadapani – Ghandruk –Pokhara 16km trek for 8 hrs and 1 hr drive
On the sixth day of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, our activities include the trek towards Ghandruk amazing Gurung village after the breakfast in Tadapani. Then we will have lunch in Ghandurk then again continue to trek for the Naya Pul from where we will drive back to Pokhara for an hour. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 7: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu 35 min
Today you will catch the domestic flight after the breakfast and fly back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu you can either rest in Hotel or hang around the city. In the evening you will join your farewell dinner with our team in an authentic Nepali restaurant. Later you will be dropped back to the Hotel.

Day 08: Departure
Your Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek terminates today. You will be escorted to airport by one of our representative and there we exchange our last good-byes. You will be traveling towards your further destination with all the memories you had during your tour. We hope you had a lovely time with us. The tour cost depends upon the category of hotels used and as per the group-size. Normally we use government approved 3 star and above hotels. Please contact us for the trip pricing.
